Synthomer Opens China Innovation Centre in Shanghai

announces the opening of its new China Innovation Centre (CIC) in Shanghai, dedicated to driving innovation designed and tailored for the fast-growing China market and wider region.The opening of the CIC marks a key milestone for Synthomer, demonstrating its continued commitment to China, which remains the largest chemicals market in the world, and to its strategic focus to provide sustainable, innovative solutions that meet its customers' needs.
Develop High-performance Adhesives
The 2,000 sq m facility strengthens Synthomer's capabilities for developing high-performance, highly specialized polymers and innovative ingredients used throughout everyday life in adhesives, coatings, construction, health and protection, renewable energy and electric vehicles, in partnership with Synthomer's customers in the region.
A team of scientists, technicians and technical service managers will work at the facility, which offers more than 10 R&D laboratories, offices, and collaborative workspaces.
Strengthen Presence in Key Global Markets
The CIC joins Synthomer's network of five innovation centers of excellence and seven technical centers around the world, located to further strengthen its presence in key global markets and to facilitate close collaboration with its customers.

The CIC is located in the Shanghai International Chemical New Materials Innovation Center (INNOGREEN) in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP), established to support the development of China's chemical industry through science and technology innovation.
