Omya has launched a new business unit specializing in the sales and distribution of specialty materials. Headquartered in Switzerland, Omya Specialty Materials combines a comprehensive portfolio of pigments, binders, additives and life science ingredients from manufacturers with the company’s own extensive range of mineral-based products.
Integrates minerals and chemicals into one unified distribution portfolio
Focusing on added value, Omya Specialty Materials provides a sales network for leading suppliers, resulting in one-stop shop technical solutions for customers.

Omya Specialty Materials will operate alongside Omya Performance Polymer Distribution, which was created in early 2025 to focus on the global performance polymer market following the acquisition of Distrupol.
