Pressure Sensitive Adhesives
LIGOS™ Latex binders from Trinseo are low-VOC and EH&S-compliant to support formulators in meeting regulatory requirements. These latex binders offer high shear performances, especially to support high heat resistance laminate constructions with paper and filmic face materials. Benefit from their self-adhesion properties, allowing permanent or removable performance for a wide range of substrates.
A novel solution for permanent labels
Looking for a solution for Permanent Labels? LIGOS™ A 3215 is a novel solution by Trinseo to design PSA tapes and labels. It is an alternative for all-acrylic pressure sensitive adhesives designed for tape or label applications. The binder provides high shear performance in any temperature and has excellent adhesion performance on steel, glass, and some plastics.

Liquid Applied Membranes for Waterproofing Applications
Trinseo's LIGOS™ Binders are designed to improve the performance of liquid applied membranes (LAMs) used for waterproofing interior wet areas like bathrooms and kitchens.
Based on the unique design of LIGOS™ polymers, LAMs exhibit excellent film flexibility and durability. LAMs are designed for extended performance in wet areas to minimize water penetration into the substrate below. This key performance property reduces the need for repairs by ensuring tile applications remain strong under highly variable moisture and temperature conditions, and in the event of subfloor mobility as a building settles. As a result, LAMs can reduce tile cracking and other maintenance needs, further optimizing the waterproofing performance.
LAMs containing latex binders boast exceptional performance properties that ensure excellent moisture management, exceptional flexibility, and increase the longevity of the waterproofing installation.

Durable Assembly
With LIGOS™ SB latex binders, formulators can produce formaldehyde-free emulsion polymer isocyanate (EPI) adhesive systems that offer excellent thermal creep and water resistance, outstanding wet and dry adhesion, and formulation stability. Where water resistance is required, LIGOS™ SB latex outperforms competitive vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymers.
LIGOS™ SB latex binders support the production of cost-competitive adhesives for application on foam that require high wet tack or contact adhesion properties after spray or brush application. LIGOS™ SB latex binders cannot be used alone but only in combination with the classical type of latexes designed for contact adhesive applications.

High Solids, Dry Lamination Adhesive for Paper and Film Structures
Enhance the Efficiency of Your Application with LIGOS™ A 9200
Developed for the flexible packaging market, LIGOS™ A 9200 is an innovative acrylic waterborne adhesive for the lamination of flexible structures that come in contact with food. With its very low odor, this all-acrylic emulsion is engineered to promote efficiency and sustainability.
LIGOS™ A 9200 is designed with the robustness of being suitable for the laminations of paper to a wide range of substrates, including treated polyolefins (min. 38 dynes/cm required), PVDC coated substrates, metalized films, polyamide and polyester films. The emulsion is also effective for film-to-film structures.
Unlike traditional waterborne acrylic adhesives, LIGOS™ A 9200 boasts a high solid content of 62% which facilitates high lamination speeds with efficient drying, making it easier for converters to switch from solvent-borne to waterborne systems with minimal adjustments.
LIGOS™ A 9200 also offers excellent repulpability in paper-based lamination structures. Suitable for Standard Mill recycling (as certified by Papiertechnische Stiftung (PTS)).

LIGOS™ A 9210 is specifically designed for high demand flooring applications, offering outstanding bond strength and stability. It excels in 90° peel strength tests (ISO EN 22631), ensuring durability even under prolonged aging at 50°C, thanks to its excellent resistance to plasticizer migration. Additionally, it reduces dimensional changes within flooring layers (ISO EN 22635), making it a dependable choice for various flooring systems.
