Solid CaZn stabilizer. It designed for FDA regulated clear flexible
and semi-rigid PVC. It is recommended where excellent clarity and color are required. The use of epoxidized soybean oil in the formula is recommended and will extend the color hold as well as overall stabilization life. Also used in filled and clear flexible PVC medical as well as FDA applications. Recommended use level is 0.75 to 1.00 phr with 5 to 10 phr epoxidized soybean oil. Calcium / zinc stabilizer. The addition of epoxidized soybean oil and / or liquid phosphite will extend the color hold and overall stabilization life. It consists zinc content of 1.9% and calcium content of 7.1%. It is used for clear tubing, calendared film and extruded products where good initial color is required. Also used in filled and clear flexible PVC for FDA and gamma sterilized medical applications. Designed for FDA regulated clear plasticized PVC. Recommended used level is 0.5 to 1.5 phr. Co-reacted calcium/zinc based PVC heat stabilizer. point. NORSTAB® 50 performs very well as a primary heat stabilizer in flexible PVC applications, both filled, clear, and specifically in applications requiring food or medical approvals. Used in the
extrusion and processing of blown films, clear tubing applications used in food as well as medical areas. Also used in a variety of filled application such as appliance gasketing etc. High grade calcium / zinc based heat stabilizer. It also performs well against many general purpose liquid BaZn stabilizers, offering the further advantage of the removal of the heavier metal barium and low volatile organic compounds (VOC’s). It can be used in specific applications where the non-toxic properties of this stabilizer are important. Recommended used level is 1.0 to 2.5 phr. Co-reacted calcium / zinc based PVC heat stabilizer. The low melting point and low viscosity allow for easy dispersion in plasticized PVC. It not only performs very well but also act as a primary heat stabilizer in flexible PVC applications, both filled and clear. It consists calcium content of 3.1% and zinc content of 0.85%. It has been engineered as an environmentally friendly non-toxic stabilizer for foamed PVC, while providing improved weathering characteristics for outdoor applications. It is specifically designed for foamed profile, board, and sheet applications. Recommended used level is 2.5 to 5.0 phr. High grade calcium / zinc based heat stabilizer. It performs well against many general purpose liquid BaZn stabilizers, offering the further advantage of the removal of the heavy metal barium and low volatile organic compounds (VOC’s). It appears as a free flowing fine white powder. It is used in specific applications where the non-toxic properties of this stabilizer are important. It is applicable in flexible PVC extrusion for e.g. gaskets, cove base, wire jacket, weather stripping, injection molding and many others along with the PVC general purpose flexible compounds. It is specifically developed for general purpose, filled PVC applications. High grade calcium / zinc based heat stabilizer. It contains Ca content of 2.2% and Zn content of 4.0%. It is solid due to which some lubrication adjustments may be necessary to fine tune rheology to match specific liquid tin stabilizers. It shows to outperform in outdoor weathering applications as it matches or exceeds the stabilization performance properties of tin based stabilizers. It is specifically developed for rigid weatherable PVC profile applications. Recommended used level is 2.5 to 3.5 phr. Calcium zinc stabilizer. The addition of epoxidized soybean oil and / or liquid phosphite will extend the color hold and overall stabilization life. It consists zinc content of 7.1% to 8.7% and calcium content of 0.3 to 0.6%. It is designed for FDA regulated clear rigid PVC bottles. Recommended used level is 0.75 to 1.25 phr with 4 to 5 phr epoxidized soybean oil. High performance calcium / zinc based heat stabilizer. It not only performs well against general purpose liquid BaZn stabilizers, but also offers the advantage of the removal of the metal barium and low volatile organic compounds (VOC’s). It also offers hydrolysis resistance. It can be used in specific applications where the non-toxic properties of this stabilizer are important. Specifically developed for flexible clear PVC applications. Recommended for clear speaker wire, clear flexible extrusions, clear fence coating, no copper greening and level used is 0.5 to 1.5 phr.
