Coad® 25 Zinc Stearate

by Norac

Coad® 25 Zinc Stearate by Norac is an excellent general purpose zinc stearate. Also acts as an anticoagulant in latexes and an excellent mold release agent for phenolic, melamine, urea-formaldehyde, and other thermoset molding compounds. It appears as free flowing, very fine white powder with slight fatty odor and is insoluble in water. It is highly desirable whenever a very fine particle size and lower ash zinc stearate is preferred. It offers good melt clarity, heat stability, very low chloride content and low bulk density. Due to its high spreading power, Coad® 25 Zinc Stearate is used as a dusting powder for uncured rubber stocks where even, light coatings are desired.

Coad® 27D Zinc Stearate

by Norac

Coad® 27D Zinc Stearate by Norac is a superior quality zinc stearate. It has an exceptionally smooth particle surface morphology results in low specific surface for a given particle size, which minimizes viscosity build during mixing. The precisely controlled particle size allows for viscosity and mixing control. It appears as fine white powder with slight fatty odor and is insoluble in water. It is applicable in SMC for class A surfaces, in which this Zinc Stearate at 12 microns yields lower mix viscosities while keeping the top size small enough to completely avoid surface blemishes. Coad® 27D Zinc Stearate is engineered specifically for use in matched metal die molding of SMC/BMC.

Coad® 10B Calcium Stearate

by Norac

Coad® 10B Calcium Stearate by Norac acts as a dispersing aid during the blending cycle, as a lubricant and processing aid during extrusion. Also acts as a mold release agent for injecting molding and matched metal die molding under certain conditions. It is a high-grade calcium stearate. It has a very fine particle size and appears as free flowing, very fine white powder with slight fatty odor. It is practically insoluble in water. It also improves stability by neutralizing acidic decomposition products in the polymerization of certain polyolefins. Coad® 10B Calcium Stearate exhibits excellent heat stability properties for high temperature processing and provides mold release properties critical for thermoplastics and thermoset molding. It is applicable in polyester molding compounds and rigid PVC compounds. It meets the requirements of PPI-TR3 and NSF Standard 14 for potable water.

Coad® 23 Zinc Stearate (Polymer Grade)

by Norac

Coad® 23 Zinc Stearate (Polymer Grade) by Norac is zinc salt of stearic acid (Polymer Grade). Due to its greater density, higher loadings can be obtained in certain equipment. It appears as free flowing white powder with slight fatty odor and is insoluble in water. It is applicable in dry blends where it reduces caking and improves flow properties because of its medium particle size and moderately high bulk density. Coad® 23 Zinc Stearate (Polymer Grade) was developed especially for the polymer industry with a low ash and low impurities for good melt clarity and heat stability.

Coad® 10 Calcium Stearate

by Norac

Coad® 10 Calcium Stearate by Norac is a high grade calcium stearate. It acts as a dispersing aid during the blending cycle and as a lubricant and processing aid during extrusion. Also acts as a mold release agent for injection molding and matched metal die molding under certain conditions. It also acts as an antisticking agent for rubber slab where a dry powder is preferred. It has low chloride content, low specific surface, exhibits excellent heat stability properties for high temperature processing and provides mold release properties critical for thermoplastics and thermoset molding. It also improves stability by neutralizing acidic decomposition products in the polymerization of certain polyolefins. It is useful for applications with zinc discharge limitations. It is developed for the PVC processing industry. Coad® 10 Calcium Stearate meets the requirements of PPI-TR3 and NSF Standard 14 for potable water.

Coad® LM Calcium Stearate Disperso

by Norac

It is a calcium salt of stearic acids. The fine particle size aids in handling and ensures even distribution of the stearate. It appears as fine white powder with slight fatty odor and is soluble in water. In rubber processing it is used on uncured rubber stocks to prevent adhesion. Uniform coatings are deposited on slabs or extruded forms from aqueous dispersions in dip tanks or baths. It is specifically formulated to disperse readily in aqueous systems with gentle stirring.

Coad® 10F Calcium Stearate

by Norac

High grade calcium stearate. It acts as a dispersing aid during the blending cycle, as a lubricant and processing aid during extrusion. Also acts as a mold release agent for injecting molding and matched metal die molding under certain conditions. It exhibits enhanced flow characteristics due to its higher apparent density. It has a larger particle size than out standard COAD®10 calcium stearate and appears as free flowing white powder with slight fatty odor. it is soluble in water. It is applicable in polyester molding compounds and rigid PVC compounds. It also improves stability by neutralizing acidic decomposition products in the polymerization of certain polyolefins. It meets the requirements of PPI-TR3 and NSF Standard 14 for potable water.

Coad® 10LD Calcium Stearate

by Norac

High grade calcium stearate. It acts as a dispersing aid during the blending cycle, as a lubricant and processing aid during extrusion. Also acts as a mold release agent for injecting molding and matched metal die molding under certain conditions. It appears as free flowing, granular white powder with slight fatty odor. It is soluble in water. It offers significant lower dusting than traditional stearates of finer particle size and its larger, friable granules readily disperse during blending or processing to provide excellent mold release and lubricating properties. It also improves stability by neutralizing acidic decomposition products in the polymerization of certain polyolefins. It is developed for the PVC processing industry. It is applicable in polyester molding compounds and rigid PVC compounds. It meets the requirements of PPI-TR3 and NSF Standard 14 for potable water.
