ADINS® Protection S4 by Tolsa is a high performance, broad spectrum antimicrobial additive based in a needle-like special silicate with silver as active substance. It is a powerful biocide, active against bacteria, algae and fungi. It allows control of the release of metals and an optimal dispersion in the matrix in which it is incorporated. Due to its stability, ADINS® Protection S4 is used in polymer matrix for different applications. It allows to reduce the amount of active substance obtaining the same antimicrobial activity, increasing its durability and reducing its environmental impact. It is used to formulate thermoplastics/thermosets and construction materials.

AOX52 distributed by DKSH is a highly concentrated, free-flowing powder with strong antimicrobial activities. It acts against a broad spectrum of bacteria, fungi, yeast, algae and COVID virus.

• For this grade, no inorganic ingredients such as silver or silver derivates & no nanotechnology is involved.
• It shows a highly durable property.
• It may be added directly into the compounding process (similar to color additives).
• While making masterbatches, carriers with low melting point temperatures should be used.
• It is used in thermoplastic materials such as PP, PE, TPU, PU, ABS and PA.
• Recommended dosage level is 1-4% depending on the application of the end product.
• AOX52 is available in Asia and North America.

New viricide activity! - ADINS® Protection S10 by Tolsa is a high performance broad-spectrum biocide additive based in a needle-like special silicate with silver as active substance. It is a powerful biocide, active against bacteria, algae and fungi with new viricide performance. It allows control of the release of metals and an optimal dispersion in the matrix in which it is incorporated. Due to its stability, this grade is used in polymer matrix for different applications. It allows to reduce the amount of active substance obtaining the same antimicrobial activity, increasing its durability and reducing its environmental impact. Moreover, it shows viricidal activity against enveloped viruses (Coronavirus such as SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19), Norovirus, Rotavirus and Adenovirus) when the activity is evaluated under the international standard. ADINS® Protection S10 is used to formulate thermoplastics & thermosets, textiles and construction materials.

ADINS® Protection P4 by Tolsa is a high performance, broad-spectrum biocide additive based in a needle-like special silicate with zinc as active substance. It is a powerful biocide, active against bacteria, algae and fungi. It allows control the release of metals and an optimal dispersion in the matrix in which it is incorporated. Due to its stability, this grade is used in polymer matrix for different applications. ADINS® Protection P4 allows to reduce the amount of active substance obtaining the same antimicrobial activity, increasing its durability and reducing its environmental impact.

Sanitized® TH 27-24 by Sanitized is an anionic, water-based antimicrobial agent. It offers reliable and durable protection against a large number of bacteria (gram-positive and gram-negative), yeast, micro-fungi, mildew, mold and algae, and prevents odor caused by them. Its activity disrupts the metabolic processes of microorganisms, interrupting their ability to function, grow and reproduce. It exhibits perspiration fastness and temperature stability up to 200°C. It is free from organic solvents and AOX.

• It is suitable for PUR foams based on TDI or MDI having varying density and hardness.
• It is designed for furnishing materials such as upholstery foams for mattresses, furniture and pillow, and household articles such as bath and kitchen sponges and other cleaning articles.
• It is also used in clothing, artificial leather, work and sportswear, rain and protective wear, shoes, tents and conveyor belts.
• Substrates protected by Sanitized® TH 27-24 have outstanding skin tolerance and are safe for man and environment.
• The recommended dosage level is 10-25%, when pre-dispersed in polyol.
• It is US EPA approved and EU BPR compliant.
• It is dermatologically tested and accepted for OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
• It has a shelf life of 24 months.

Sanitized® BC A 21-41 by Sanitized is an antimicrobial additive based on a natural active ingredient, silver in a transparent glass ceramic carrier. It protects the polymer against microbial infestation, inhibiting bacteria and their activity, and preventing the formation of unpleasant odors caused by bacteria.

• It offers durable effectiveness, is washing resistant, and remains stable at temperatures up to 500°C.
• It is compatible with most additives used in the plastic industry, such as stabilizers, antistatic products, fillers, pigments, optical brighteners and UV absorbers.
• It is especially suitable for use in films, synthetic fibers (PA, PP) and monofilaments.
• Substrates protected with product are safe for man and the environment.
• It can also be used in sheets, extruded, and molded parts.
• It is used in a variety of applications, including appliances like refrigerators with extruded parts, personal care items such as toothbrushes, flooring such as carpets.
• It is also recommended for bedding articles including pillow fiber fill and mattress covers, sanitary articles like toilet seats and bathtubs, cleaning articles such as brooms and wiping cloths, packaging materials like non-woven fabrics and films, and industrial applications including filters, ropes, and automotive textiles.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.6% of the total weight of the material to be protected.
• Sanitized® BC A 21-41 is approved with US FDA, EFSA, EU Regulations 10/2011, NSF. It is US EPA-registered, EU BPR-compliant, and accepted for OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, classes I-IV.

LG PuroTec™ by LG Chem is a glass matrix-based antimicrobial additive. It provides long-lasting protection against the growth of microorganisms, including bacteria and fungi. It suppresses microbial activity on coated surfaces and plastic materials, helping maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and durability.

• It shows excellent thermal stability, long-term effectiveness, and resistance to wash-off, ensuring sustained antimicrobial performance throughout the product lifecycle.
• LG PuroTec™ is suitable for applications like plastics, polymers, textiles, fiber and foam.
• It is also used in home appliances, consumer products, electronics, healthcare products, and industrial materials.

Sanitized® AM 23-24 is an antimicrobial agent by Sanitized. Its application is possible on all types of textiles except pure polypropylene.

• Supplied as a liquid. It is effective against vectors such as mosquitoes, ticks, house dust mites, and bed bugs.
• Provides protection against vectors, in particular, disease-transmitting species, such as mosquitoes like Aedes Aegypti (yellow fever) and Anopheles Gambiae (malaria).
• Substrates protected with Sanitized® AM 23-24 are noted for their good skin tolerance.
• Its shelf life is 12 months.
• Sanitized® AM 23-24 is BPR-compliant and accepted for OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Class I-IV.

Vanquish™ 100 Antimicrobial by Arxada is N-butyl-1, 2-benzisothiazolin-3-one. Acts as an antimicrobial/ antifungal additive for the preservation of plastic and rubber. Provides effective control of a wide range of bacterial, fungal and algal organisms thereby preventing degradation of the product. It protects the surface of substrates and prevents objectionable odors and aesthetic problems such as staining or growth on or in the substrate. It is easy to use due to its liquid form and excellent compatibility in most systems. It is used to preserve natural rubber and plastics such as PVC, polyurethane, silicone, acrylics and others to produce articles such as in coated fabric, floor coverings, underlay, mats, vinyl wall coverings, tarpaulins, awnings, roofing membranes, synthetic leather, swimming pool liners, ornamental pond liners, appliance gaskets, shoe soles, mid-soles, outers, sealants, caulks, weather stripping, pet toys, general household items, auto parts, foam, tubing, electrical, pipe wrap, furniture.

Sanitized® BC 98-56 by Sanitized is an antimicrobial agent with bacteriostatic effect against a large number of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeasts, fungi, and algae. It is suitable for thermoplastic polymers such as PE, PP, TPE, TPU, EVA, SAN, rubbers (EPDM, NBR, NR, SBR), rigid PVC, PUR. It is designed for extrusion and injection molded articles as profiles, foils, films, fibers, foams, and containers.

• Substrates protected with Sanitized® BC 98-56 are safe for man and the environment.
• It is washing resistant and does not contain phthalates, arsenic, cadmium, TBT, mercury, or lead.
• Its activity on the cell disrupts the metabolic processes of microorganisms, thereby interrupting their ability to function, grow, and reproduce.
• It is used in various applications, including clothing for work and sportswear, rain and protective wear, gloves, and boots.
• In technical applications, it is used for floor and wall coverings, awnings, tents, sanitary articles, and foams.
• It is also used in furniture items like seat covers, mattress covers, shower curtains, and non-slip bath mats.
• In sports articles and equipment, it is used for mats, tents, swimming aids, and earplugs.
• Additionally, it is applied in automotive and public transport furnishings such as seat coverings and carpets, as well as in industrial applications like seals, conveyor belts, and handles.
• It can be used for indirect food contact polymer applications at maximum of 1000 ppm.
• The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.3% of the total weight of the material to be protected.
• It is US EPA-registered, EU BPR-compliant, and accepted for OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class I-IV.
