KetaSpire® KT-820 CF30 by Syensqo is a semi-crystalline, flame retardant, polyetheretherketone (PEEK) grade reinforced with 30% carbon fiber. It is a radiotranslucent grade providing high heat-, chemical-, fatigue-, wear-, abrasion-, steam- and radiation (gamma) resistance. Exhibits low melt flow, good dimensional stability, high purity, high stiffness and sterilization through autoclave, E-beam, ethylene oxide, heat, steam & radiation. Offers high mechanical strength, good processability, low CLTE, high limiting PV properties and excellent dielectric properties with low loss at high temperatures and frequencies. It can be processed by injection molding, profile extrusion and machining. Recommended for healthcare/medical applications like hospital goods, surgical instruments, dental instruments, electrical/electronic applications like connectors, automotive applications, transportation, pumps, gears, thrust washer, chemical processing and oil/gas applications. KetaSpire® KT-820 CF30 complies with RoHS.
