Glastic® 1412 by LyondellBasell is a flame retardant, high temperature polyester grade, reinforced with glass fiber. It exhibits reasonable cost, tracking resistance, low shrinkage, good electrical properties and electrical insulation. This grade offers high physical properties, close dimensional control and surface smoothness. It is processed by compression, transfer and injection molding. Glastic® 1412 is used in electrical housing, appliance components, automotive and electronic applications. It complies with UL MIL M-14 specifications Type MAI-30, Type MAI-60 and Type MAT-30.
