XNB-100A by Advanced Composites (Mitsui Chemicals) is thermoplastic olefin (TPO) elastomer grade. It is designed for processing by injection molding method. During processing of XNB-100A, holding pressure should be lower than boost pressure with a minimum amount of time to prevent over-packing of the part and screw should stop 1 to 2 seconds before mold open. Lower RPM of screw is preferred for mixing and uniform melt temperature. Injection speed should be slow to medium to prevent excessive shear on the material.
