SOFT EST.® 1160 TP is a recyclable, heavy metal-, PVC- and phthalate-free TPE by Actega (Altana). Prevents contamination due to its tight and leakproof seal as well as transfers by odors, flavors and materials. It is ergonomic with non-slip, good grip properties. Suitable for injection molding of elastic parts. It increases the shelf life, improves product perception and design through shape & color, and visual upgrade by decorative elements. Used in kitchen & food articles, personal care, seals, toys, household and childcare articles. Shows low migration with non-fatty foods. It is easily colorable with masterbatches on polystyrene carrier. SOFT EST.® 1160 TP complies with Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 and Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21 (CFR 21) “FDA” EN71-3.
