Performa V™ 6112 Polymer

Performa V™ 6112 Polymer by NuCera Solutions (Chase) is an excellent film former that provides superior water resistance in color cosmetics and sunscreens. It can be easily neutralized in-situ to aid emulsification of actives, boost SPF and improve star ratings. Its highly branched structure gives high shine in anhydrous systems, binds oil, acts crystal modifier for crystalline polymers/waxes, pour point depressant, light/non-greasy aesthetics. The property of acid functionality makes it anionic emulsifier when neutralized, water resistant film former, dispersible in water and stable in low pH systems and shows high gloss. The property of low melting point makes it easy to formulate. Performa V™ 6112 Polymer also acts as oil thickening and rheology modifier which enhances SPF makes it oil phase stabilizer and boosts UVA/UVB star ratings.
