Performa V™ 260 polymer

Hyper-branched polyalphaolefin. Performa V™ 260 polymer by NuCera Solutions (Chase) features a branch-on-branch polymer configuration which makes it excellent hydrophobic film-former that provides superb shine. Alphaolefin branching provides compatibility with non-polar cosmetic oils. It also has benefits like ability to modify crystalline waxes such as paraffin and polyethylene for improved texture and lower pour points, oil binding for improved hardness and reduced syneresis and ability to optimize based on other formula ingredients and easy to formulate. Performa V™ 260 polymer is used in lipsticks and lotions.
