Is 100 % vegetable origin and preservative free serum. Is based on biomimetic ingredients (Phytosterols), natural component of skin surface present in- olive unsaponifiables and essential nutriments- Omega 3, 6 ( and Omega 9). Phytosterols present a biomimetic effect, due to their close structural similarity to cholesterol. They are known to have soothing, anti-inflammatory effects due to their role in protection of cellular membrane. In addition, they play an important role in cutaneous barrier due to their strengthening and repairing properties. Olive unsaponifiables, rich in the main component of skin surface polyunsaturated lipids, help and improve the regeneration of aged or damaged tissues by restructuring them. They protect skin against photo-oxidation and have bacteriostatic properties. Omega 3, 6 are essential free fatty acids which can not be synthesised by the human body. Omega-6 fatty acids help to maintain concentration of water in epidermal barrier by reducing TEWL (Trans Epidermal Water Loss). Omega-3 fatty acids are important for their anti-inflammatory and photo-protective properties.
