Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine. Genamin® SPA by Clariant is a readily biodegradable, cationic surfactant and hair conditioning agent. It also acts as an emulsifier and viscosity modifier. It exhibits good softening- and antistatic effects.
  • It does not generate build-up on hair upon prolonged use and does not reduce foam.
  • It increases the ease of wet & dry hair combing, increases hair shine, controls hair volume and reduces frizziness.
  • In acidified form, it is easily water-soluble and is ideal for rich, creamy formulations.
  • Genamin® SPA is recommended for formulating body washes, liquid soaps and hair care products (shampoo, conditioner, leave-on).
  • It is compatible with cationic-, non-ionic- and amphoteric surfactants.
