Cetrimonium Chloride. Genamin® CTAC 25 by Clariant acts as a cationic surfactant and hair conditioning agent. It is adsorbed onto negatively charged hair surface without leaving a visible film. It prevents the hair flying after combing as it allows reduction in surface resistance.
  • It considerably improves the wet & dry combing properties and exhibits superb antistatic effect & good softening effect for normal hair.
  • It is absorbed from aqueous & alcoholic solutions and from emulsions (dispersions) also in combination with other additives, such as film-forming agents and fatty components.
  • Genamin® CTAC 25 is used mainly in cream rinses, hair conditioners and creams after treatment preparations.
  • It is also suitable for the manufacture of antistatic fixatives for permanent waving, hair lotions, shampoos and styling creams.
  • Unlike other cationic surfactants, it possesses excellent foaming properties.
  • It is RSPO MB, Vegan and Halal certified.
