Behentrimonium Methosulfate. Genamin® BTMS by Clariant acts as a cationic surfactant and hair conditioning agent. It exhibits softening- and antistatic properties. It is adsorbed onto negatively charged hair surface without leaving a visible film.
  • It provides gloss/shine enhancement, soft & natural feel, volume and excellent wet combing properties to the hair.
  • It shows broad pH range stability.
  • It allows the reduction in surface resistance and prevents the hair flying after combing.
  • Genamin® BTMS is recommended for formulating cream-type hair conditioners and hair replenishing treatments.
  • It is also used in the manufacture of antistatic fixatives for permanent waving, hair lotions, shampoos and styling creams.
  • It is soluble in aqueous systems and is compatible with cationic & amphoteric surfactants.
  • It is preservative-free, Vegan and Halal certified.
