ERISYS® GE-60 by Huntsman is an accelerator, binder & resin, crosslinking agent and reactive diluent. It is a sorbitol glycidyl ether-aliphatic polyfunctional epoxy resin. It imparts both higher reactivity and crosslink density to epoxy resin formulations.

It is used to crosslink acid functional polyurethane and acrylic resins for improved chemical resistance in light stable coatings.

ERISYS® GE-60 is produced from from renewable resource.

Very low viscosity, nitrogen containing, highly reactive tetrafunctional epoxy resin based on meta-xylenediamine. Used as the sole resin or as a reactive additive to lower viscosity and improve cured properties of other epoxy resins in chemical resistant coatings. Possesses high epoxy functionality, high crosslink densities. Provides high temperature resistance, very good chemical resistance and high modulus. Epoxy functional monoglycidyl ester of neodecanoic acid. Possesses low viscosity, low vapor pressure and a less irritating odor. Provides improved wetting, gloss, flexibility and salt spray resistance. Used in polyester or acrylic resin synthesis for water reducible coatings, synthesis of alkyd resins and as diluent in epoxy floor coatings. Used as a diluent. Resorcinol diglycidyl ether, low viscosity aromatic difunctional epoxy resin. Possesses compatibility with all epoxy resin curing agents. Provides viscosity reduction, fast cures and high cross-link densities, high strengths, improved toughness, good heat resistance and chemical resistance. Used as the sole resin in an epoxy formulation such as chemical resistant coatings or as a viscosity modifier for epoxy novolacs. Monoglycidyl ether of a naturally occurring C12-C14 aliphatic alcohol. Used as a reactive diluent for high viscosity epoxy resin in 100% solids floor coating formulation. Possesses compatibility at all concentrations with those resins and any epoxy resin curing agent. Offers low vapor pressure and very low residual epichlorohydrin level. Lengthens gel times. Ethylene Glycol Diglycidyl Ether. Is a low viscosity, aliphatic diepoxide. Used as a cross linker for acid functional acrylics. Used at low concentrations to effectively improve certain properties of acrylic polymers that are used for specialty applications. Low viscosity, high epoxy functional resin. Used in 100% solids epoxy coatings. Provides very good crosslinking, good reactivity. Can be cured with all standard curing agents suitable for epoxy resins. Neopentyl Glycol Diglycidyl Ether. Is a low viscosity, aliphatic, diepoxide. Compatible at all concentrations with those resins and resin blends can be cured using any epoxy resin curing agent. Depending on concentration, properties such as gel time, strength, and modulus remain relatively unchanged compared to an undiluted resin. Difunctionality helps to produce formulations with improved chemical and heat resistance. Used as a reactive diluent for high viscosity epoxy resins. Low viscosity epoxidized brominated neopentyl glycol. Provides flame retardant characteristics viscosity reduction to epoxy formulations such as coatings. Possesses high halogen content. Offers compatibility with all standard epoxy resins and curing agents. Can be blended with other liquid or solid epoxy resins. Low viscosity, aromatic, mono-epoxide, epoxidized ortho cresol. Used as a reactive diluent for high viscosity epoxy resins in environmentally difficult applications such as floor coating and chemical resistant coatings. Possesses compatibility at all concentrations with those resins and any epoxy resins curing agents. Reduces tendency of certain epoxy resins to crystallize. Improves homogeneity. Offers low vapor pressure and very low residual epichlorohydrin level. Suitable for environmentally difficult applications such as floor coating and concrete repair.
