Omnirad 601 by IGM Resins is a di functional photoinitiator characterized by its excellent reactivity especially in comparison with conventional alpha hydroxy ketones.
  • It shows good performance in clear or low yellowing coatings and printing inks due to its low yellowing properties.
  • It exhibits through- & surface cure.
  • Its molecule and the absorption spectrum towards the longer wavelength make it suitable for pigmented systems using conventional UV curing conditions too.
  • Omnirad 601 is suitable for water-based systems where low odor may be required.
  • It is used for clear lacquers for wood, plastic, paper, metal, optical fibers, printing inks (screen, offset, flexo, inkjet, etc) and pigmented system.
  • It can be used for AAK replacements like Omnirad 369, 379 and 907 as it performs similar in many formulations.
  • It is more efficient at the lower wavelengths like 365nm.
  • The dosage level of the 2-5% by weight.
  • The shelf life of the product is 24 months.
