Natrosol™ 250 HBR

Natrosol™ 250 HBR by Ashland is a water-soluble, non-ionic hydroxyethyl cellulose surface-treated with glyoxal. It functions as a high efficiency thickener, water retention aid and rheology modifier in all types of water-based paints and surface coatings. Provides mechanical & chemical stability and controls rheology before, during and after application. Offers good color acceptance, color development, viscosity retention on tinting, superior biostability, fast dispersion and easier dissolving in water. Offers very good pseudoplastic flow behaviour and wide compatibility with other materials such as emulsion polymers, natural and synthetic gums, emulsifiers, defoamers, pigments, surfactants, and preservatives. Natrosol™ 250 HBR can be used as a protective colloid, stabilizer and suspending agent.
