SYLOID® ED 30 distributed by DKSH is a synthetic amorphous silica. Acts as a matting agent. Exhibits high porosity and is easily dispersible. Due to its relatively fine particle size, it imparts excellent surface properties to the coating film.

SYLOID® 7000 distributed by DKSH is a wax treated, synthetic amorphous silica with special organic treatment. It acts as a matting agent. It exhibits high porosity, high matting effect, ease of dispersion, excellent film clarity and film smoothness.

• It offers excellent optical properties in wet paint and dried coating film.
• It is suitable for use in high quality water-borne and solvent-borne coatings for furniture, artificial and natural leather, automotive plastic parts, foils, laminates, and UV-curable acrylate systems.
• SYLOID® 7000 has a shelf life of 12 months.
• It is available in Asia and Europe.

Techpolymer™ EFC-208B by Sekisui Kasei can be used as a matting agent. Offers soft and smooth texture on coating surface. It is a crosslinked acrylic copolymer grade. It contains 50% biomass content and contributes in lowering the environmental loads. Its mean particle diameter is between 6.0-10.0 µm. Techpolymer™ EFC-208B is composed of polymer particles and can maintain the major properties as other Techpolymer™ lineup.

SYLOID® MX 307 distributed by DKSH is a synthetic amorphous silica. It is an organically treated high porosity silica matting agent of medium particle size. It provides excellent surface appearance combined with high film clarity.

• It exhibits high matting efficiency, outstanding suspension behavior and easy incorporation & dispersion properties.
• It is used in furniture-, wood-, coil-, wood protective-, general industrial- coatings and decorative & trade sale paints.

SYLOID® C 809 distributed by DKSH is a high porosity, synthetic amorphous silica-based matting agent of medium particle size. It exhibits high matting effect, favorable gloss/ sheen ratio, outstanding incorporation and dispersion behavior and excellent overgrind resistance.

• It is suitable for use in coil coatings, general industrial coatings and decorative & trade sales paints.
• SYLOID® C 809 has a shelf life of 12 months.
• It is available in Europe.

SYLOID® C 803 distributed by DKSH is a high porosity, easily dispersible untreated amorphous silica-based matting agent. Due to its relatively fine particle size, it imparts excellent surface smoothness to the coating film.

• It is used for matting of thin film systems including artificial and natural leather coatings, thin film coatings for plastics and coatings for foils and laminations.
• SYLOID® C 803 has a shelf life of 12 months.
• It is available in Europe.

ACEMATT® OK 520 distributed by DKSH is a wax-treated, medium particle-sized precipitated silica-based matting agent. It exhibits high compatibility, high transparency and good chemical resistance. It offers good viscosity, smoothness/haptic and high sedimentation behavior. It has universal usage in nearlyall coating systems.

• It is suitable for waterborne-, solventborne-, 2-pack-, pigmented- and clear coatings as well as partly suitable for radiation curing coatings and high solids coatings.
• It finds application in car OEM-, wood-, general industrial- and plastic coatings.
• Recommended dosage level of 1.5-7.0% on total formulation.
• It has a shelf life of 24 months and is available only in Asia/Pacific regions.

CASAMID® 1416 by Thomas Swan acts as a gloss reducing curing agent and reactive matting agent. It is designed for use in interior coatings as well as black & dark shade epoxy- & hybrid powder coatings.

• It offers good flow and surface smoothness to the coatings.
• Epoxy coatings with gloss levels ranging from 5-15% and hybrid coatings with gloss levels ranging from 15-60% (or greater) can be easily formulated using CASAMID® 1416.
• The recommended dosage level is 8-12 phr.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months.

Thetawet™ FS-8020EB by Innovative Chemical Technologies is a 30% active, water soluble, low foaming, anionic fluorosurfactant with tolerance to mineral based fillers (calcium carbonate). It acts as excellent wetting and leveling agent for wetting difficult to wet surfaces (plastics, oily substrates, waxy surfaces), for reduction in coating surface defects and enhanced gloss development for smoother, more even films in finishes & polishes. It does not impart color or change the optical properties of the coating beyond potential gloss or DOI improvement from better reflectance. It shows exceptional stability and functionality in severe thermal & chemical environments, also stable even in highly acidic or basic environments and in hard water without chelation. It is ideal for use in VOC sensitive systems. It is used in industrial and architectural paints & coatings, floor finishes, sealers, automotive finishes & top coats, lacquers and polishes. It is based on short-chain fluorochemical technology which meets the goal of the US EPA 2010/2015 PFOA Stewardship Program. Recommended dosage level of Thetawet™ FS-8020EB is 0.01-0.05%. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
