LOPON® PHB-C by ICL is a highly effective additive to stabilize the pH of emulsion-based systems. It is a preparation of silanols, amines, chelating agents and stabilizers. It is used to stabilize interior wall paints at high pH-values, which allows protection against microbiological attacks without using biocides. The recommended dosage level is 0.5-2.0% based on the total formulation. LOPON® PHB-C has a shelf life of 2 years.

DeuAdd MA-95 distributed by DKSH is an amine neutralizer designed to adjust and stabilize pH of water-borne systems. Also functions as a co-dispersant to prevent re-agglomeration of pigments. It reduces in-can corrosion and flash rusting.

• It is used in coatings and inks.
• It is effective in low odor systems and improves color acceptance of tinting pastes.
• It is used at a dosage level of 0.1-0.5%.
• DeuAdd MA-95 has a shelf life of 18 months at temperature between 5°C to 40°C.
• This product is available in China, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland.

2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol by Foru Chemtech acts as a pH neutralizing and dispersing agent. It increases water resistance and provides in-can corrosion inhibition and anti-rust protection in coating formulations.

• It has good compatibility with carbomer and other synthetic rheological additives.
• 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol is VOC-free and compatible with alcohols such as IPA and ethanol.
• It is used in coatings and ink formulations, including pigment dispersion and waterborne coatings.

BRB Siloen® HPA 415 by BRB International BV is a pH controller additive for water-based emulsion paints. It provides excellent pH stability and ensures very good storage stability of paints.

Crystal™ SB by PQ Corporation acts as a pH-stabilizing agent based on formulated soluble silicate. It helps in maintaining and improving paint properties. Offers effective pH control, lower dispersant demand and excellent dispersion stability of system. It can also be used as a co-dispersant. It is cost effective than traditional amines. It helps to build formulation viscosity and reduces thickener demand & in-can corrosion. Crystal™ SB improves leveling and scrub resistance. It is recommended for high performance in architectural coatings.

Genamin® NT 018 by Clariant is a low-odor, cost-effective pH neutralizing agent. It exhibits minimal yellowing compared to other commonly-available amines and amino alcohols. It prevents flash rusting, reduces paint odor, and offers flexibility for use during either the grinding or let-down stage.
