PR 510.2

PR 510.2 by Pine Rosins is a gum rosin. Acts as a tackifier. It is obtained by distillation of pine oleoresin – steam distillation to remove the volatile matter (turpentine). PR 510.2 exhibits low softening point, high tendency to crystalize, high acid value and low resitance to oxidation. Suitable for use in low cost adhesives.

PR 510.3

PR 510.3 by Pine Rosins is a gum rosin. Acts as a tackifier. It is obtained by distillation of pine oleoresin – steam distillation to remove the volatile matter (turpentine). Exhibits low resitance to oxidation, low softening point, high acid value and high tendency to crystalize. PR 510.3 is used in low cost adhesives.

PR 315.5

PR 315.5 by Pine Rosins is a glycerol ester of gum rosin/ wood rosin. Acts as a tackifier. It is obtained by esterifying rosin with glycerol at high temperature. The rosin derivative offers a high softening point, low acid value and high thermal resistance compared to the straight rosin counterpart. PR 315.5 is used in water-based, solvent-based and hot-melt adhesive applications.
