Deuterol® 201 E by Deuteron is a non-ionigenic surfarce-active compound in combination with water miscible solvents. It acts as defoaming wetting and dispersing agent for water dilutable systems. Deuterol® 201 E is used in putties, sealing compounds, glues and adhesives.
Deuteron® XG by Deuteron is an anionic heteropolysaccharide (xanthan gum). Acts as a thickening agent. Shows a characteristic extreme high pseudo-plasticity, i.e. the viscosity lowers, if the shearing stress in-creases. Deuteron® XG drops back immediately to the initial value after the shearing stress ceases. Dosage depending upon requirements 0.1 - 0.5 % calculated on the water proportion in the product.
Deuteron® SR 28 by Deuteron is an organic high-molecular polymer compound (based on xantha-galactomannan). Acts as a thickening and thixotropic agent. Shows a good compatibility with acidic as well as alkaline compounds. By changing the pH-value the viscosity is not influenced as much as the strength of the gel is. Solutions of Deuteron® SR 28 tolerate high quantities of water-miscible solvents such as alcohols and glycols.
Dosage: The dosage depends upon the requirements of the final product. Amounts of 0.1 - 1.0 % are recommended.
