PR 315.4 by Pine Rosins is a glycerol ester of gum rosin/ wood rosin. Acts as a tackifier. It is obtained by esterifying rosin with glycerol at high temperature. The rosin derivative exhibits a high softening point, low acid value and high thermal resistance compared to the straight rosin counterpart. PR 315.4 is used in water-based, solvent-based and hot-melt adhesive applications.
