Preventol® P 72 W by LANXESS is VOC-free preservative. It is an aqueous solution based on 2-bromo-2-nitro-1,3-propanediol (Bronopol). It is effective against a broad spectrum of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria such as sulfate-reducing species. Preventol® P 72 W is recommended for water-based technical products such as synthetic adhesives and sealants.
