Surfynol® MD-20

Surfynol® MD-20 by Evonik acts as a defoamer. It is an organic molecular defoamer based on gemini surfactant technology.

• It provides a combination of foam control and dynamic wetting.
• It is a long-lasting defoamer efficacy and defect-free foam control with good substrate wetting.
• It eliminates microfoam and contains no added silicone, silica or fluorinated materials and no added alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs).
• It can improve flow & levelling and has good compatibility & an ease of incorporation.
• It is used in pressure sensitive adhesives and lamination adhesives.
• Its recommended use level ranges between 0.1 and 1 % of total formulation weight.
• It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, ENCS, TCCL, PICCS and IECSC inventories.
• Surfynol® MD-20 has a shelf life of 36 months.
