Deuteron® VT 819

Supplied byDeuteron- Last Updated on Jan 24, 2024

Deuteron® VT 819 by Deuteron is an anionic heteropolysaccharide (xanthan gum). Acts as a thickening agent. Shows a characteristic extreme high pseudoplasticity, i.e. the viscosity lowers, if the shearing stress increases. Reducing of the rate of shear increases viscosity again. High temperature does not really interfere with the viscosity. The recommended dosage of Deuteron® VT 819 is 0.1 - 0.5 % calculated on the water proportion in the product.
