Supplied byClariant- Last Updated on Nov 2, 2023

Licocene® PP 1302 granules by Clariant is a low melting, low molecular weight, amorphous, metallocene propylene-ethylene-copolymer wax. It exhibits a low degree of crystallinity, low viscosity and excellent wetting behavior. It provides excellent compatibility, faster blending, easier processing at lower temperatures, and energy savings. It is used as a sole carrier for better and faster dispersion of colorants and fillers.
  • It offers excellent adhesion properties combined with insignificant residual tack and maximum cohesion.
  • It enables the formulation of high polymer content adhesives.
  • It provides high loadings and an outstanding dispersion in water or solvents when used as a carrier for masterbatches.
  • It is recommended for hot melt adhesives (HMA) and textile & non-woven applications.
  • It imparts enhanced water resistance properties in leather & shoe care.
